How to maximise your returns with fodder conservation– Get the real picture on your silage quality
Gordon Marley – Sil-All Global Product Manager in the UK, will present information to farmers on the key management principles to produce more milk by making better hay and silage.
Gordon will visit some local dairy farms and do an audit on their silage, look at crop type, cutting, wilting and storage management, feed out management and review feed test results. He will put that information together into the presentation and talk about what is working, how to improve management practices, where losses are occurring and ultimately how to produce a better quality product to produce more milk from the same starting fodder.
· Wednesday January 15th at the Rocky Cape Tavern – 6.30 to 8.30pm
· Thursday January 16th at the Happy Chef, Longford – 6.30 to 8.30pm
Light meals will be provided, RSVP to DairyTas by Monday 13th January 2014, 64322233 or [email protected]
