Fodder Industry Stakeholders Encouraged to Participate in Silage & Transport Workshops.
The Australian Fodder Industry Association (AFIA) is calling on anyone interested in round bale silage or fodder transport to participate in the feature workshops, at the 2014 National Fodder Conference in Adelaide.
“At this year’s National Fodder Conference we are holding two industry focussed workshops as part of the conference program” said AFIA Executive Office Darren Keating “These workshops will focus on round bale silage and fodder transport.”
“These forums will not only provide information to participants, but also a chance to discuss real issues and challenges that are being faced by people in the hay and silage industry” Mr Keating said.
The round bale silage and fodder transport workshops will follow the first ever AFIA contractors workshop, a forum for AFIA members who are hay and silage contractors.
“Contractors play an important role in the fodder industry, and we need to make sure we support their businesses to continue to grow the fodder industry” Mr Keating said.
“AFIA staff will be actively involved in the discussions and taking away actions that require further work by the Association. These kinds of discussions are really important to AFIA as a tool to ensure that we are working on the things that matter to our members and the wider fodder industry”
Concluded Mr Keating.
The workshops are being sponsored by Lallemand and participation is open to all delegates attending the 2014 National Fodder Conference at the Adelaide Convention Centre, 4-6 August. The Contractors workshop, the Round Bale Silage workshop and the Fodder Transport workshop will be held on Monday 4 August, between 10.30am and 5pm.
