Notice of Annual General Meeting
In accordance with the AFIA constitution I advise all financial AFIA Members that the Annual General Meeting will be held at Crown Perth, Great Eastern Hwy, Burswood, Western Australia commencing at 11.25am (AWST) on Tuesday 2 August 2016.
Call for Nomination of Directors
Under our constitution the terms of three (3) current directors will expire this year and the board seeks to have the new board number following the 2016 AGM at seven (7) directors.
Accordingly we are now calling for nominations to this position. The AFIA Director Nomination forms can be downloaded here.
All nominations must be:
· Made in writing;
· Signed by two AFIA members; and
· Accompanied by the written consent of the candidate (which may be endorsed on the form of the nomination).
· Received in the AFIA office by 12pm EST Friday 1 July 2016. Nominations should be forwarded to Secretary c/- AFIA;

A list of all nominees will be posted on the AFIA website prior to the AGM.
Voting – In the event that there are more nominations than positions available, members will be informed of the process for voting.
