The Australian Fodder Industry Association (AFIA) is holding a Lucerne Hay Day at Chinchilla on the Darling Downs, QLD. AFIA members and anyone else involved in the lucerne hay industry are invited to this event.
This event will explore the topic Making Quality Lucerne Hay and will feature lucerne hay expert Mary-Anne Lattimore as guest speaker. On the day you will learn about many aspects of lucerne production from seed to feed and take a farm tour of Nine Mile. This progressive business aims to turn over 6000t of lucerne annually from 300Ha’s and has 11 centre pivots. The workshop will be fairly informal with plenty of time for networking.
