Accommodation Bookings

The property is offering a conference room rate of $330 per room per night (room only) for all members, sponsors and partners, and this rate will be available both pre and post conference for those wishing to stay for extra nights. PRE-CONFERENCE TOUR DETAILS

Pick up and Drop Off: Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort, Gold Coast 

Please join us on this year’s Pre-Conference Tour as we loop clockwise from the Gold Coast through southern QLD and northern NSW.

A wonderful itinerary has been organised for this year’s tour which starts and ends at the Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort on the Gold Coast.

The itinerary is detailed below, and regardless of numbers, the tour will operate from Sunday 20 July to Tuesday 22 July, returning in time to relax before the welcome function.

The per person cost to attend is all-inclusive of accommodation, transfers and meals. Additional beverages outside of what’s included on the tour will be at your own cost.

Tour Itinerary

DAY 1: GOLD COAST – LISMORE – TENTERFIELD 
09:00 – Pickup from Sheraton Grand Mirage, Gold Coast and travel to Lismore.
11:00 – Tour and lunch of Darryl Boyd’s property in Lismore.
13:30 – Tour of a Macadamia or Tea Tree farm in Lismore.
14:30 – Head from Lismore to Tenterfield
17:30 – Arrive at accommodation in Tenterfield
18:30 – Dinner in Tenterfield

DAY 2: TENTERFIELD – SMITHLEA – TOOWOOMBA
08:00 – Leave Tenterfield for Whyalla Beef Feed Lot
10:00 – Tour of Whyalla Beef Feed Lot
13:00 – Lunch at CC Café, Coolmunda
14:30 – Cotton & Irrigation farm visit
16:30 – Afternoon tea in Brookstead/Pittsworth
17:15 – Feed Central Lab tour and pre-dinner drinks
18:45 – Arrive at accommodation in Toowoomba
19:00 – Dinner in Toowoomba

DAY 3: TOOWOOMBA – WINWILL – TAMBOURINE MT – GOLD COAST
09:00 – Depart for Lance Pollock’s property in Winwill
09:40 – Tour of Lance Pollock’s property and solar-powered irrigation system
12:00 – Lunch at Eden Brewhouse in Redbank
14:00 – Tour and tasting at Tambourine Mountain Distillery
16:00 – Arrive back at the Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort
