Gen Ag & YDN Fodder in Dairy Workshop

Thursday 19 June, 2014

Elmore & Rochester Region

Allowing for plenty of networking time between younger members of the dairy and fodder industries, this workshop will explore how the fodder and dairy industries are dependent on each other. There are two key themes; nutrition in dairy and the role fodder plays, and large scale fodder production to meet the growing demand for hay from the dairy industry.

To bring together young people who have a strong interest with fodder, from growing to feeding.

For people from both the fodder and dairy industries to come together, build linkages and access information that will better assist them in the operation of their businesses.
