AFIA Submission into the INQUIRY INTO THE OPPORTUNITIES FOR INCREASING EXPORTS
OF GOODS AND SERVICES FROM REGIONAL VICTORIA
On Thursday 17 April, 2014 AFIA made a submission to the Victorian parliamentary inquiry into increasing exports of goods and services from regional Victoria.
The submission highlighted the role that the export hay industry plays by contributing to the Victorian agricultural sector and Victorian exports.

Summary of the AFIA submission:
The growth of the export fodder industry in Victoria will deliver both directly to the value of Victorian exports, and indirectly to other sectors of Victoria’s agricultural production. Government can best assist the Victorian export fodder industry by appropriate investment in infrastructure and engaging the export fodder industry in discussions at a state wide level.
